"Yours Only George" was a fan-run fan club in the early 1990s
(with an earlier incarnation in 1986). Not only does the name Yours Only
George represent fans' dedication to George, but it also spells out one
of George's nicknames — YOG. The nickname
"Yog" derives from the Greek pronunciation of George's given
name: Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou.
The site is designed and maintained by Melanie, a fan since 1984 when
George hit the U.S. shores to "make it big." (Melanie is not
one of George's sisters.)
