George Slams Teenagers with Guns:
George Michael has spoken out against glorifying "teenagers brandishing guns" in the media such as in the Virginia Tech massacre.
He told the crowd at his concert in Denmark: "Virginia Tech is one of the worst kinds of mass slaying of students yet.
"Isn't it about time we stopped putting these f******' faces in the papers? They are nobodies."
YogTube, the new George Michael Video Blog, is a site with video from China Tour, The Faith Tour, Cover to Cover, Stand By Me, Concert of Hope, 25Live, TV performances and more.
Sandra sends us "MusicBlog: Let's Go Inside."
While in Dallas, she (Mary McCartney, daughter of Paul McCartney) stayed at the Park Cities home that Goss Gallery owner Kenny Goss shares with his partner, pop star George Michael.
Q&A with Jonny Lee Miller for 'The Flying Scotsman'
HW: What's next on the horizon for you?
JLM: I shot a pilot for ABC, but we don't know if it got picked up yet so we have to wait a couple of weeks to hear about that. If it gets picked up, I will have to sign a contract. It's called Eli Stone and I play Eli, a high powered lawyer who starts hearing things and seeing weird things that lead him to take on a case he wouldn't normally take on--to help a woman and her child. Then he's diagnosed with a medical condition. It's ambiguous as to whether he's seeing things because of his brain, or if there's something more spiritual to it. It's sort of a drama-comedy. It's got a great script and the possibilities, when doing something like that, are quite enormous.
George Michael May Flee Britain:
Singer George Michael said he may quit Britain to escape the relentless media attention on his troubled private life.
He admitted to a dependency on prescription drugs, called marijuana
much less harmful than alcohol, and said he had developed a "very-self
destructive" streak since the death of his mother a decade ago.
"I have started thinking for the first time in my life that actually
I shouldn't be living here," Michael told ITV talk show host Michael
Parkinson in a show being broadcast tomorrow.
Reflecting on the intense media coverage he has received, he said: "I
have got to think seriously about whether or not my love for my country
is keeping me somewhere which is not good for me, you know."
Michael's agent said he has houses in London and Dallas, Texas.
George Michael Begins Europe Tour:
Pop star George Michael kicks off his European tour on Friday with a concert in Denmark.
The UK leg of his 25 Live tour includes a date at Wembley Stadium next month, when Michael will become the first artist to play at the revamped venue.
The tour also takes in France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Holland and Hungary.
The 43-year-old singer has apparently spent £20 million on pieces by controversial artist Damien Hirst in the last month, boosting his personal collection to a massive £80 million, the Daily Mirror reports.
A source close to George told the paper: "George is hugely into his art. He made a lot of money from his 53-date tour last year and he thought this would be a good way to invest it."
A preview of Eli Stone is now available at ABC. (This is like a dream come true!) Go and post in the ABC message board about how happy you are to see George Michael.
Here's a brief description of the show.
Eli Stone: A guy starts hearing songs in his head—George Michael's "Faith," for instance—and the din reaches a point that, disconnected from reality, he finds himself believing he's at a George Michael concert when in fact he's in his office at a corporate law firm in San Francisco. Then, doing some kind of pro bono work against his better interests, he meets a hot chick with an autistic son. During a home visit, Eli sees that the kid has spelled "GEORGE MICHAEL" with his building blocks. But maybe Eli just has a brain tumor. This is for real.
Spending more than $2 million to buy John Lennon's piano may have made headlines for British pop star George Michael, but he and his Dallasite partner, Kenny Goss, routinely drop big dollars on collectibles. Some estimates value their private art collection north of $150 million. They are two of the world's pre-eminent collectors of artworks by Damien Hirst.
While the couple spent much of the spring at their Highland Park home, they are now in London and making the rounds at the art auctions. Kenny owns Dallas' Goss Gallery.
They were just spotted giving covetous looks at Mr. Hirst's Lullaby Winter Pill cabinet and Cecily Brown's Pajama Game.
Fans in Bulgaria to Take Photos of George Michael during Concert:
Fans in Bulgaria will be allowed to take pictures during George Michael’s concert in Sofia on May 28.
The concert will take place at Lokomotiv stadium.
Such options are rare for a concert of the scale. During his concert in Sofia, Bryan Adams decided to give fans the same opportunity.
I have finally added the new fan sites to the George Michael Fan-created Websites links.

Marcus sends us information on George Michael on Parkinson next Saturday.
Andrew sends us the link to one of his videos from the Coimbra, Portugal concert.
Estefania sends us "George Michael Deslumbró a 27.000 Personas en Portugal."
I was perusing Knobby's Blog when I noticed that George Michael apparently told VH-1 that he's afraid to go to his fan sites because they'll send him to the press. First thought: "S--t!" Second thought: "Must change slogan of Yours Only George from 'Your Link to the George Michael World' to "George Michael, Your Link to Your World.'" LOL! (Don't fear, George, you can click on any link in your personalized slogan for the site. LOL.)
He revealed his plans included a role in a new comedy drama in the US as well as taking his greatest hits tour to the States.
He said: "I'm going to have the most phenomenal year.
"There's an American tour planned and a big US comedy drama called Eli Stone which stars Jonny Lee Miller."
George added the producers of the upcoming series, about a lawyer who begins to think he is a prophet, also want to name each episode after one of his songs.
A Peak into TV's Annual Frenzy of Pilot Season:
Afterward, he (executive producer Greg Berlanti of "Eli Stone") traveled to London to film singer George Michael (the focus of Stone's inexplicable visions), followed by a trip to San Francisco for some "Stone" location shooting. Then it was back to Los Angeles to wrap the "Stone" pilot, before heading to New York to start "Dirty Sexy Money," which stars Peter Krause (of "Six Feet Under" fame) as an idealistic lawyer caught up in some dirty dealings.
Along with the "Grey's" spinoff, "Private Practice," insiders say it also appears ABC has picked up "Dirty Sexy Money" (an idealistic lawyer inherits his late dad's suspect rich client), "Eli Stone" (another lawyer show), "Women's Murder Club" (based on the series of James Patterson mysteries), "Pushing Daisies" (a romantic procedural drama) and "Big Shots" (about wild CEOs).
Thought you'd all get a chuckle out "Experts Lose Faith in George Michael," as it's so clearly wrong considering the news recently that George Michael now has a television career and U.S. tour in the works.
Marcus will tell us that George Michael will be on Parkinson next Saturday.
Lizzy sends us video of George Michael before he appeared in court. Additional footage can also be seen in "Michael admits driving offence."
"George Michael admits drug charge" contains slightly different information than what has been printed in most articles.
Singer George Michael Admits Driving Charge at London Court:
Pop star George Michael admitted driving while unfit through drugs on the first day of his trial at a London court on Tuesday.
Appearing confused during the hearing at Brent Magistrates' Court in north London, Michael, real name George Panayiotou, said he was guilty because of "tiredness and prescribed drugs".
Prosecutors dropped a further charge of being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drugs.
George Michael pleads guilty to drug driving:
Speaking directly to Judge Katherine Marshall he said: "I did
something very stupid and I am very ashamed since doing it. I'm not used
to defending myself in a position where I am ashamed of something.
"I really have been very distressed by this whole thing. I am perfectly
aware that I did something very wrong and got into my car when I was unfit
to drive.
"I was not in my normal physical state and I'm perfectly prepared
to accept the correct punishment for that."
George Michael pleads guilty to drug-driving charge:
Addressing the court Michael apologised for not pleading guilty earlier and blamed his previous legal team.
He said: "I genuinely believe I only knew the full possibility of this in the last week and that since I took on Mr Spiro I realised I had been in a combination of misinformation and shame."
