The following articles aren’t good news for “Eli Stone.”

New shows get lukewarm welcome (Variety link is no longer available.)

And none of the first-year shows on the current sked — “Welcome to the Captain” on CBS, “Carpoolers,” “Cashmere Mafia” and “Eli Stone” on ABC, and Lipstick Jungle” on NBC — are really clicking. While “Eli” and “Lipstick” have done decently, there’s nothing in their early numbers to suggest that they’ll be long-term players.

ABC Moves Lost (The Hollywood Reporter link is no longer available.)

ABC has tried several new shows in the 10 p.m. Thursday period that have been unable to capitalize on “Grey’s” success. Case in point: Current occupant “Eli Stone” is notably absent from the newly announced spring lineup. Since “Stone” debuted this year, it has averaged a 3.3 rating in the time period. An ABC spokesman said the network hasn’t decided when the remaining “Stone” episodes will air.

Eli Stone is the story of a lawyer who suddenly starts to have hallucinations … of George Michael. It starts out with George Michael singing “Faith” on his coffee table. What’s so fun about the first season of this television show is that George Michael makes multiple appearances. All of the show titles are George Michael or Wham! songs, and many of the musical numbers are also George Michael songs.

Eli Stone stars Jonny Lee Miller, Natasha Henstridge, Loretta Devine, Matt Letscher, Sam Jaeger, and Victor Garber.

The DVD for the first season of Eli Stone (Amazon Ad) is currently available.

That’s unfortunate news. I hope ABC gives the show more of a chance to succeed. Or at least until the episodes where GM appears again. More George=more ratings, ABC!

The ratings are getting worse week by week. The First week was impressive, thanks a lot LOST premier… ABC simply saw this and had an action.
Eli Stone not exactly about George Michael, it’s more like Bruce & Evan Almighty movies. They are similar ways to explain moral values, love or justice by using inspirations.
I think Eli Stone has a good reason and must go on.
Thank you…
