George Michael Partying Down Under

Is George Michael out promoting the re-release of Faith?  Nope.  He’s in Australia having a good time:

And it looks like he has found a new pal in Packed to the Rafters star, and budding jazz/pop performer, Hugh Sheridan.

It’s understood the unlikely pair crossed paths at celebrity Sydney nightspot Ivy late Saturday night after a day of revelry at Good Vibrations music festival.

Spies say Michael and Sheridan got along like a house on fire, hanging out most of the night, before the Faith singer kicked on to Oxford St day club Phoenix.

“It was amazing to meet a music legend like George Michael,” was all Sheridan — pictured here with the Fast Love singer and a pal from Adelaide — said yesterday.

Ah, makes sense. I guess maybe the interview in the book was all he was willing to do for it. I had hoped for some new TV or magazine interviews seeing as they postponed the release until after he was out of jail. Let’s hope he’s busy making some new music!

He hates being remembered with the 80s. But truth is that he was compelled to publish a lot of collection album just for 4 solo and 3 Wham album!
1.The Final 1986 (Make it Big+Fantastic+a couple new song)
2.If you were there 1997 (the best of Wham!)
3.Ladies and gentlemen 1998 (best of George Michael)- 2CD almost all solo hits!
4.Twentyfive 2006 (best of WhamGM)- 3CD almost all WhamGM songs!

and now
Faith re-mastered!
the next one is Make it Big re-mastered?
Sony!
Come on!

I’m wondering exactly who is buying Faith Re-mastered? (Thanks to the few who bought it from this site!) And how well is it doing? They sent me some of the marketing audiences they were targeting, and I don’t think I was in any of them.

I’m not surprised that George isn’t marketing it. I would be surprised if it he did promote it.

Melanie

I agree with you.
But I don’t understand why GM did not promote This is Not Real Love. Another Sony battle? It just needed a video and deserved to promote. No promotion, no top ten.

Let’s be honest….George is quite the Diva and won’t do anything that would inconvenience him in the slightest bit. It’s a miracle that the 25Live Tour ever happened. He promised his fans the occasional new downloadable song and we only got one in the last two years. He promised an autobiography and that never happened either.
