George Michael Is Dead

I am in complete shock.  It is with incredible sadness that I have to write that George Michael has died.

In a statement, the star’s publicist said: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.

“The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.”

According to the police, an ambulance was at George Michael’s home at 1:42 pm today and that there were no suspicious circumstances.

I will post more as I find it.  I have more to say, but I want to get this posted.

I woke up with the tragic news this morning. George has always been one of my greatest Idols. I not only looked up tot him for his musical talent and achievements. But I have always loved him for his kindness and genetics nature.

I was privileges tot have been him live in concert 3 times – the first during his 2005 25 Tour, and twice in 2010 and in 2012 at one of his Symphonica Concerts.
I remember the entire venue welcoming him on stage with a standing ovation – we were all so relieved seeing him again alive after his sickness two years before.

I have been listening tot his music all morning, crying… It is hard to fathom he’s not longer with us.

I hope he has finally found some peace.

“Feels good tot beste free…”

Kind regards,

Sabrina a.k.a. Bree

Hi, Sabrina! I’m still in denial over George’s death. I have been trying to put into words how I feel for a blog post, but I just can’t.

I know someone who was looking for the last Glenn CD. Could you help?

my sister called me at 1am on xmas day to give me the sad news. My hero, my soulmate, my beloved friend has left us.
I have been a fan of George since 1982. I was born on 22june 1963 and George on 25th June 1963. I had so much in common with George. He was me as a man. For me I am living a fourth mourning.
After my Mother 4 years ago, after my younger Brother 2 years ago and my Dad 2 years ago, Now my soulmate George. I cannot describe the deep pain. Your heart is hurt for ever.

During the Symphonica Tour in 2012, I was about to fly to London to see George in Concert on 13th,15 and 16 October 2012. I live in Geneva and whenever George played in London I was there for sure. But sadly, My Dearest Mother passed away on Friday 12th October. It was so brutal, so sad, painful to lose my Mum. Could not get over it even today.
I gave my tickets to my best friend so he can enjoy the Show and Symphonica what a beauty,
I was hoping to see George again, I was not too worried about it.
I was lucky to have seen him in Paris at the Opera Garnier, and In Geneva on oct 15th 2011 and Zurich.
There is one thing I will be proud of is to have been to George’ concerts at least 50 times. When he played I will go every single night.
He is my therapy. When I do not feel good I will put on his music and it relaxes me, it makes me feel great, and forget about my sadness. Your songs have profoundly touched me.

Thanks to the technologies nowadays we can catch up on about everything of George performances wether it is a concert, live shows, pictures.

I am heading to London tomorrow to pay tribute to my all time friend and only artist. It is George and will ONLY be George. Noone can replace what he brought to me and to all his lovelies. It is going to be very difficult to overcome this loss.

You are now resting in Peace with your Mum.

I will truly miss you.

I love you and you will be ALWAYS in my heart and in my soul.

With Love As Always

Y.
