George Michael has been talking about his recovery from pneumonia and new songs he is working on.
George said, “Even my tracheotomy scar is healing nicely in the sun, was looking a bit Bride of Chucky for a while. Spoke to doctors before I came away and they told me my recovery is way quicker than can usually be expected so I’m happy as Larry.”
He also said: “People, I’m excited….just finishing a ballad that I think is going to make you think my eighties self has been re-born! Which I suppose it has in a way. :)”

George Michael took to his Twitter account once again, this time in regard to his postponed concert tour. He tweeted:
realistically I can’t see my vocal cords being being ready till the summer, but then I have to think about people losing out if …. they are on their summer hols. So September seems the most likely. Sorry about that everyone. Rest assured I will use the time wisely… As in… working on improving the show, mixing the live tracks, finishing brand new tracks!
He also tweeted:
Pneumonia may have been a bastard thing to go thru, but normally when I suffer you guys benefit somehow, don’t you think 🙂 That’s just how it goes in GM world. God’s little joke. Long may it continue 🙂

The Daily Mail is showing new photos of George Michael out on the town last night. There are also references to George Michael’s Twitter posts about the day before he went into septic shock.
This is the new song that he had added to the lineup before he was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. George Michael said, “Before I go, should clarify earlier comment about “The Recluse”. When I said it put me in hospital, I meant that I added it to the set in Frankfurt, and it seemed to be the last straw as far as my body was concerned. Fecking great song though. String players. Dogz Bollocks!”
“The Recluse” is a song by English hip hop artist Plan B, whose real name is Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew. It was released in 2010 as the fourth single from his second album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks.
